Have you ever wondered what it's like to play as the NPC that all the players sell items to?  Yeah, me neither.
I would recommend looking at page 2 of the guide before playing, if you are still confused on how to play you can read here.

* Buy an item from an NPC, this will appear in you "storage on the left"

*If you click the name of an item in storage it is moved to your workspace. You can then drag the item with your mouse cursor to perform various actions. 

*Drag item to the forge area to smelt it. This will turn it into a metal bar which is worth more. You can also make alloys, all of which are written on page 3 of the guide. Not all items should be put in the forge. Once the time is up you can click on the metal bucket to cast the metal into bars(NOTE: NO ITEMS CAN BE BROUGHT IN IF THERE IS ALREADY SOMETHING IN THE WORKSPACE)

*Drag an item to the customer area to sell it. You can look on page 1 of the guide for sell prices.

*Drag an item back to storage. Useful if you want to bring out another item.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using arcane crystals to make smelting faster
